As we all know the powers that be are not following there lawfull duties to protect the laws of our land and our people. Treason has been commited on several occasions. Im led to beleive that it is our duty as the soverign man-woman of this land to stand in lawfull rebelion, I am not a well educated man, but i will always stand for what is right. We can not let these people tear our land apart. Our millitary is being stripped down. Police force slashed. Mr cameron has already sold our nhs to his banking freinds. Any information or help regarding this matter would be appreciated, Thanks.

Now on show in our library. We also are displaying the Magna Carta facsimile in the library at the moment although it will be displayed sequentially along with the recently made tapestry in all the local schools.
Pontefract & District Amateur Radio Society have obtained a special call sign GB00MC and they will probably have contact with hundreds of countries during the one month long event. Publicizing the Magna Carta around the world. There will also be a Race evening at our famous Racecourse ( the longest flat course in England ) and a Hog Roast dinner with brass band which many are looking forward to.

A gallery of school work produced by our local children will be available to view within the town and showcased in the magazine. Any contributions or collaborations would be very welcome!

We have a prepared lecture on the arrival of IIbert de Lacy as one of William the Conquerers sworn Knights and I would be interested in maintaining an interest in the progress of the project. The Masonic Hall is an excellent place for entertaining groups or holding conferences of up to 80 with catering facilities and a resident steward.

Kind regards
Paul Levey

This includes:
Adding John de Lacy’s arms to the Welcome to Pontefract road signs
Involving local schools in developing a resource/information pack
A black tie dinner
Creating a commemorative beer in partnership with a local brewer
Ringing of the bells
An event in Pontefract Castle
Creating a Magna Carta quilt
A Magna Carta monument
