Yes, I did it, over 800 miles, with a few twists, turns, diversions and yes some errors on the way. Arrived home safely on Sunday night. A very big thank you to all those of you I met on the way and some others I didn’t, sorry Little Dunmow, but hope the picture is proof of my visit. The award for the best road surfaces goes to Suffolk County Council. The award for the best scone goes to Jan’s Kitchen in Ponteland, Northumberland. What a wonderful country we live in, with many wonderful people, all supporting their communities. It was a pleasure meeting you all and visiting your villages, towns and cities. I really can’t believe its all over!

Well done Lance, fantastic effort. Did you really take the train home? Surely Alnwick was only the half way point! Many thanks anyway for all your work for Dorothy House, a fantastic effort for a wonderful cause. Many thanks.
