Villagers from Castle Hedingham posing as characters from Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales to promote their celebrations of the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta. The inaugural walk to open a heritage trail about 8.5 miles long on ancient tracks from Clare Castle to Hedingham Castle was planned for Saturday 25 April.
