Over three hundred people attended a lunchtime reception hosted by the Lord Mayor of the City of London at Mansion House on Tuesday 12 May. This historic event marked the 800th anniversary of the baronial army entering London on 17 May 1215, which brought John and the barons to Runnymede and the sealing of Magna Carta. The reception was the second time in eight hundred years that representatives from the barons’ villages and towns where they had their chief manors were together in London to meet the Mayor!
